Post-Party Blues
Many people have spent hundreds (and sometimes thousands) on purchasing a dress for their special occasion. Quite often, these dresses sit in the cupboard for years, are donated to charity, seem to shrink (blame it on the chocolate and cake), or are stored in preservation boxes. Wouldn't you prefer to be able to use your gown again? It seems to be fashionable these days to visit a dressmaker and re-create your gown into another outfit that you can actually use. This is a fantastic idea for those trying to avoid clutter, fit into the dress again, and for those who want to cherish those special moments. Why not contact a dressmaker and see what they can do for your gown? You might be surprised with the results!
Finishing Touches
Many people have a gorgeous outfit sitting around that hardly gets worn, as it just doesn't look right, but it is still too good to throw away. Try adding some gorgeous jewellery as a finishing touch, such as a nice necklace or earrings. It will draw the attention away from the bits you want to hide, and accentuate your beautiful face. Lingerie and Gowns Fashionista Dreams can provide you with some lovely accessories to complete the look.
Trash Your Dress
For some people, a new fad has started, where the person wears their gorgeous gown again, and then trashes it. This can include going to a muddy area and rolling around in the mud, going swimming in the gown, or cutting it to pieces. It certainly makes for awesome photography, however for some, they just couldn’t bear the thought of ruining their gorgeous dress. It isn’t for everyone, but something to consider if you wanted extra photos. In many cases afterwards, the gown has been washed and looks brand new again, but make sure you check the care labels on the gown before you do this, and be really sure that you think it is worth it.
