Measurements

Lingerie and Gowns "Dreams" provide you with the option of Standard Sizing, or Custom Sizing for our custom-made dresses and shoes. For the rest of our items such as various brand shoes, they come in Standard Sizes only. Before choosing the size you are after, please check the following size charts to confirm the sizing is right for you. For Australia, go by the USA measurements. For Custom Sizes, please see the Measurement Charts below. It is recommended that you have your measurements taken by a seamstress, to confirm accuracy.

Women's Shoe Measurements:

If you are unsure about your shoe size, follow the instructions below to measure your foot:

  • -On a piece of paper, draw a straight line, longer than your foot.
  • -Stand on the paper with the line centered below your foot. The line should run under your middle toe and heel.
  • -Use a pen and mark where the back of your heel and the tip of your longest toe meet the line. Repeat for the other foot.
  • -Measure between the heel and toe marks. Use the measurement from the larger of your two feet with the size chart above to determine your shoe size.

Custom-made Measurement Instructions:

How to take measurements for your custom-made gowns:
Ensure that you are wearing the correct undergarments when measuring, and ensure that you are wearing shoes when measuring. It is recommended that a seamstress takes these measurements for you. Please also include your height measurement.

Full Bust- measure the bust around the fullest point Waist- measure around the waist at the smallest point
Hips- measure around the hips at the fullest point, and take note of how far down the waist you are measuring Upper Bust- measure the upper bust the same way as you measured across them
Under Bust- measure under your bust the same way as you measured across them Length of Shoulder to Bust- measure from the top of your shoulder down to the bust point / nipple
Front Length, Shoulder to Waist- measure from the top of your shoulder, over your bust, to the section where you took your waist measurement Outer Leg- measure from your waist to the floor, with your shoes on
Arms Eye- this measurement gives you the size of your sleeve hole (if applicable). You can make this as tight or loose as you like Shoulder to Shoulder- measure from your shoulder socket on one side, across the back, to the shoulder socket on the other side
Neck- measure around your neck loosely (if applicable) Arm Length- measure from the shoulder to the wrist, with your arm bent
Bicep- measure around the bicep (fullest part of upper arm) Upper Arm Length- measure from the outer shoulder, down to the elbow
Nipple to Nipple- measure the nipple to nipple/ bust point to bust point Length of Armpit to Elbow- measure from your armpit to your elbow
Hollow to Hem- measure from the hollow section on your neck, down to where you would like the hem to sit (shoes on is ideal)
